Douglas Hartley is a distinguished Professor of Otology at the University of Nottingham and a consultant ENT surgeon specializing in otology at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust since May 2011. Hartley leads the objective measures group at the NIHR Nottingham Hearing Biomedical Research Centre and serves as Chief Medical Officer for Rinri Therapeutics, overseeing clinical strategy since May 2022. Hartley's educational background includes a PhD in auditory neuroscience from the University of Oxford, as well as qualifications in surgery and otorhinolaryngology from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Hartley earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Newcastle University.
