Kara Mackin is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade Teacher at Bloomfield Public Schools in New Jersey since July 2023. Alongside this role, Kara has been a Fifth Grade Teacher at Weehawken Township School District and a Sixth Grade Teacher at Maria L. Varisco-Rogers Charter School since November 2020 and September 2019, respectively. Prior teaching experience includes a position as a Teacher at Ridgefield School District and as a Substitute Teacher at Kearny Board of Education in late 2018. Kara's background also includes a role as a Student Teacher at Ringwood Public Schools. In addition to teaching, Kara has been a certified Zumba instructor for two years, currently leading two classes per week at Art of Dance Studio in North Arlington, New Jersey. Kara Mackin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey, obtained in 2018.
