Martijn Akkermans is an experienced educator and coach with a diverse background in sports instruction and program coordination. Currently serving as a Hogeschool docent at De Haagse Hogeschool since November 2018, Martijn also holds roles as head coach and youth coach at Ring Pass Delft and as the founder of Coachcorner. Previous positions include docent at Maerlant-lyceum Den Haag and sportdocent at Regio College and Sportbureau Kilocal. Martijn has additional coaching experience with JB Soccer Academy and Hockeyclub Klein Zwitserland. Academically, Martijn holds a Master of Science in Sport en beweeginnovatie from HAN University and a Bachelor of Education in lichamelijke opvoeding from Haagse Hogeschool, complemented by a qualification in Sportcoordinator niveau 4 from ROC Tilburg.
