Rod Cotton is a seasoned database professional with extensive experience in database development and administration. Since June 2019, Rod has served as a Senior Database Administrator at EasyPark Group, maintaining UK databases in SQL Server and MySQL following the acquisition of RingGo Cashless Parking/ParkNow. Prior to this role, Rod worked at Reach Contact Field Marketing as a Senior Database Developer/DBA, specializing in bespoke reporting and SQL Server DevOps. Rod's experience also includes a position as Database Architect/DBA at SSE plc, where improvements in print generation processes were achieved. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Senior Software Engineer/DBA at Clearswift, an Oracle Consultant at Midas/Tier, and an Analyst Programmer at Lloyds TSB Bank, developing various systems across different platforms. Rod's foundational education took place at Cricklade Tertiary College and John Hanson School in Hampshire.
