Mohammad Hammoud serves as an Associate Teaching Professor in Computer Science at CMU-Qatar, where responsibilities include teaching and researching topics such as Distributed Systems, Artificial Intelligence for Medicine, and Entrepreneurship. Previously, Mohammad held various academic positions, including Assistant Teaching Professor and Visiting Assistant Professor, concentrating on areas like Database Management Systems and Cloud Computing. Additionally, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, efforts focused on enhancing Hadoop's network traffic and performance through innovative scheduling algorithms. In 2017, Mohammad founded Rimads, a company dedicated to creating a comprehensive medical ecosystem leveraging Computer Science and AI to support patients from their initial symptoms to recovery. Educationally, Mohammad holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the American University of Science and Technology.
