Spence Laird is an experienced professional in environmental, health, safety, and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the EHS&R Manager at Riley Exploration Permian, Inc. since April 2023. As co-owner of Laird Energy Consulting since June 2020, Spence Laird provides full-service Regulatory, EHS, and Project Management consulting for the energy industry. Previous roles include Community Affairs Manager at OGE Energy Corp. and Environmental, Health, Safety & Regulatory Affairs Manager at SandRidge Energy, with extensive expertise in regulatory matters across multiple states, including Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. Spence Laird began a career in regulatory analysis with Devon Energy and held the position of Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Team Lead at Reagan Smith Energy Solutions. Spence Laird holds a BS in Environmental Science from Oklahoma State University and completed the Institute of Emerging Leaders program in 2017.
