Morten Friesgaard has a diverse work experience. Morten began their career as a developer at Aalborg University, where they worked as a research assistant. After that, they joined Systematic A/S as a developer, specializing in the Mac platform. Morten then transitioned to Visiolink Denmark, where they worked as a developer and solution architect. Following that, they worked as a digital consultant at Zeppelin AS, focusing on health insurance, booking, data analysis, and profiling. Morten then became a lead software engineer at Sopra Steria, where they worked for three years before joining RiksTV as a lead Android developer in 2019. In addition, Morten has experience as a freelance software developer.

Morten Friesgaard earned a Master of Science in Engineering degree with a specialization in Computer Vision from Aalborg University between 2000 and 2005. In addition, they obtained various certifications throughout their career, including CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals Certificate (CSXF) from ISACA in 2019, Associate Android Developer from Google Developers in 2017, Functional Programming Principles in Scala by Martin Odersky from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in 2013, and Sun Certified Business Component Developer from Sun in 2010, among others.
