Peter Veltmeijer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in contract management, asset management, and infrastructure consultancy. Currently serving as a Sr. Contract Manager at Rijkswaterstaat since January 2011, Peter oversees critical contracts that ensure the reliability and maintenance of the Rijksrederij fleet. Additionally, Peter has a significant background as a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 and SCB and has been involved in teaching asset management courses. As the owner of Veltmeijer Consultancy, Peter focuses on performance-based contracting and asset management while also contributing to projects related to infrastructure improvement. Peter's earlier roles include Maintenance Manager at the Ministry of Transport and Project Manager for the renovation of the Gent-Terneuzen canal. Peter holds a B.Sc. and is one thesis away from completing a Master of Science in Innovation Management from Eindhoven University of Technology.
