Corrie Wortel is a skilled professional with extensive experience in public events coordination, education, and biomedical research. Currently serving as Public Events Staff at Rijksmuseum Boerhaave since October 2021, Corrie is involved in organizing and coordinating public events while also teaching as a Dance Teacher at the University Sports Centre. As a PhD Candidate at Leiden University Medical Center since October 2016, Corrie focuses on investigating the origins of rheumatic diseases and supervising internships. Previous roles include various research internships at Leiden University Medical Center and Naturalis Biodiversity Center, accumulating expertise in techniques such as cell culture, FACS, ELISA, and molecular biology.
