Alan Prater is a seasoned maritime professional with a diverse background in program management, training, and operations. Currently serving as the Commercial Vessel Program Manager at Rigid Tactical and as an Instructor and Business Development Manager at Training Resources Maritime Institute, Alan delivers tailored maritime training curricula approved by the US Coast Guard and International Yacht Training. Prior to these roles, Alan accumulated over two decades of experience in the US Navy, where responsibilities included leading special operations personnel, developing training curriculums, and enhancing maritime capabilities. Additionally, Alan participated in a leadership development program for transitioning Special Forces Operators through The Honor Foundation and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from American Military University.
