Axel Playner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Axel began their career as a Student at Indiana University Kelley School of Business from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they worked as a Business Development Representative at Groupon, where they engaged in conversations with CEO's to evaluate potential marketing strategies. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Outside Sales Consultant at UniFirst Corporation. Axel then transitioned to a role as a Digital Marketing Analyst at Uline, where they managed and analyzed paid search and organic search campaigns. At iProspect, Axel held multiple positions, including Media Specialist, Marketing Insights Analyst, and Lead Analyst, where they created dashboards and templates to analyze and optimize clients' marketing campaigns. In 2020, they started their own consultancy, Playner Consulting, where they offered various services such as dashboard building, data modeling, and project management. Axel worked with clients like Kroger, Helen of Troy, and LaserMDMedSpa. Axel also had significant experience at The Hershey Company, where they worked as a Sr. Data Analyst, Holistic Advisor Strategist, and Manager/Strategist Reporting & Capabilities. Most recently, Axel worked as an Adobe Analytics Consultant at Kroger, building workspaces, debugging site events, and creating PowerPoint decks to inform insights. Axel is currently an Analytics Team Lead at Rightpoint.
Axel Playner attended Lincoln Park High School from 2007 to 2011, where they earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma with a focus on advanced Chemistry and Math. Axel then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Business and Business Management. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and Indiana University Bloomington, where they obtained their BS degree with a specialization in Business Management and International Business.
