Temwani Maiwanga has a diverse work experience. Most recently, in 2022, they worked as a Data Capturer at Right to Care, where they were responsible for capturing patient data, recording statistics, and maintaining electronic/paper patient registers. In 2021, they worked as a Data Associate at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ). Prior to that, they served as a Community Case Officer at Jhpiego, overseeing the screening and enrollment of vulnerable children into the OVC program and providing support in various areas. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Community Liaison Officer at CIDRZ, conducting vulnerability assessments, supervising HIV testing and linkage to care, and mentoring community health workers. Additionally, they have experience as an Audio Transcriber at EQUIP Health and as a Membership Coordinator at Alliance for Accountability Advocates Zambia, where they facilitated communication between the organization and its members.
Temwani Maiwanga completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the University of Lusaka from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, their education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Agroforestry and Rural Development from Copperbelt University. Additionally, Temwani obtained certificates in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Psychosocial & HIV Counseling from the University of Zambia.
