Dr. Constance Wose Kinge, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of public health and epidemiology. Starting in 2014, they served as a Research Fellow specializing in Molecular Virology and Hepatitis Virus Diversity at the University of the Witwatersrand. In this role, they conducted research and contributed to the understanding of hepatitis viruses.

Dr. Constance Wose Kinge obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology from the University of Buea in 2004. Dr. Constance pursued their passion for virology and earned two Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees, one from Rockefeller University in Virology in 2013 and another from North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit in Virology in 2014. In 2019, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of the Witwatersrand.
In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Kinge has also acquired additional certifications. In 2018, they obtained a certification in Specialized Project Management from the University of the Witwatersrand. Additionally, in 2020, they completed a certification in Data Science with Python from the University of Cape Town.
