Katharina Pelka is an accomplished ecotoxicologist with extensive experience in regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Team Lead Ecotoxicology at RIFCON GmbH since April 2016, Katharina also held the position of Deputy Team Lead Ecotoxicology and previously worked as an Ökotoxikologin. Prior to this role, an internship at BASF involved participation in the OECD-Validation Study "Zebrafish Embryo Toxicity Test (ZFET)" from November 2010 to March 2011. Katharina holds a PhD in Biology from Heidelberg University, achieved between 2011 and 2017, and a Diplom in Biology from the same institution, obtained from 2004 to 2010.
