Kevin DeMarco, Ph.D. has an extensive work experience in the field of robotics and engineering. Kevin is currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of RIF Robotics since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Georgia Tech Research Institute for more than a decade. During their time there, they held various roles including Senior Research Engineer from April 2016 to September 2020, ECE PhD Student from August 2012 to April 2016, and Research Engineer II from June 2008 to November 2012. Kevin'sresearch focused on developing algorithms for processing high-frequency sonar imagery and creating autonomy architecture for large-scale maritime robotic platforms.

Kevin DeMarco, Ph.D. pursued their education with a focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 2003 to 2007, they completed their Bachelor's degree in this field. Kevin later went on to pursue their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2007 to 2008. Lastly, they obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in their area of interest, from 2012 to 2016, all at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
