Mahendra Awale is an experienced cheminformatician and data scientist currently employed at Ridgeline Discovery since December 2021. Prior to this role, Mahendra served as a cheminformatician and data analyst during a postdoctoral position at Roche from March 2019 to November 2021, and as a postdoctoral research fellow at Universität Bern from April 2015 to February 2019. Earlier in the career, Mahendra worked as a research scientist at Strand Life Sciences from August 2008 to February 2011. Mahendra holds a PhD in cheminformatics from the University of Bern (2011-2015) and an M.S. in pharmacoinformatics from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (2006-2008), with expertise in data analysis, visualization, and machine learning to support drug discovery projects.
