Michelle Friedman Manning is an experienced educator in the arts, currently serving as a Preschool and Lower School Art Teacher at Ridgefield Academy since August 2020. Simultaneously, Michelle has been a Museum Consultant for the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, focusing on sound art education. Prior to these roles, Michelle held various positions at The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum from February 2009 to November 2019, culminating in the role of Head of Education and Academic Initiatives, where notable achievements included substantial increases in engagement with underserved students and the development of significant partnerships with local schools. Michelle holds a Master of Art Education from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Purchase College, SUNY.
