Karen Jahr, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has over 30 years of experience in various Human Resources roles. Currently, they are the Director of Global Human Resources at Richardson Electronics, Ltd., where they oversee HR functions for employees in 24 countries and 17 states. Karen is responsible for recruiting, hiring, retention, organizational development, performance management, coaching, policy development, and more. Karen is also a member of various committees, including Safety Council, DEI&B, and 401(k) committees.

Karen Jahr, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, completed their Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management and Business Management from Purdue University Northwest from 1984 to 1988. Prior to that, they earned a High School Diploma from Lake Central High School from 1981 to 1984. Additionally, they obtained their Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in February 2017 and December 2013.
