Olivia Heckendorf

Architectural Historian at Richard Grubb and Associates, Inc.

Olivia Heckendorf is an experienced architectural historian currently employed at Richard Grubb and Associates, Inc. since July 2019. Prior to this role, Olivia served as a preservation consultant for Historic Ithaca Inc., collaborating on an architectural survey for the East Hill Historic District. Additional experience includes positions as a teaching assistant at Cornell University, an assistant cultural resources specialist at Environmental Design & Research, an exhibit coordinator in the Department of City & Regional Planning at Cornell, and a graduate assistant focused on historical research. Olivia's background also includes customer service roles at Port Washington State Bank and Schaefer and Associates Eyecare, along with internships at the Cedarburg Cultural Center and Washington County Historical Society. Olivia holds a Master of Arts in Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public/Applied History from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
