Scott Robinson has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1989 as an Installer at ITEC, Huntsville. Scott then worked at Nortel as a Site Team Leader from 1990 to 1998, where they received multiple awards for Zero Defects and was responsible for hardware and functional testing of DMS 100/200/250 product line. From 1998 to 2017, they served as a Project Engineer at GENBAND, where they ensured projects were engineered to customer standards, improved processes, and supported revenue growth. Currently, they work as a Project Manager at Ribbon Communications since 2017.

Scott Robinson began their education at Fyffe High School from 1984 to 1988, where they earned their diploma in General Education. Following high school, they attended DeKalb County Technology School from 1986 to 1988 and obtained a diploma in Electricity and Electronics. Finally, Scott pursued further education at Alabama Tech, a part of Gadsden State Community College, from 1988 to 1989, specializing in Telecommunications Technology and earning another diploma.
