Team Leader - Cloud And Edge Solutions at Ribbon Communications

Ronald Mesina has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ronald began their career as a Technical Auditor at Benpres Holdings Corporation in 1992. From 1993 to 1999, they worked at Bayan Telecommunications as a Senior Engineer in the Switch Technical Assistance Group, where they managed Nortel DMS switches and supported network applications.

In 1999, Mesina joined Nortel Networks as a Senior Customer Support Engineer, responsible for supporting Optus Switching Network faults and managing software upgrades. Ronald later became a Global Network Technical Support Engineer, providing technical support for major telecommunications companies in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. Their role involved resolving various technical issues related to DMS TDM and CS2K products.

From 2010 to 2017, Mesina worked at Genband, initially as a Senior OPS Specialist and later as a Team Leader for Carrier VOIP Solutions. Ronald played a crucial role in supporting Genband's customers, including the Australian Taxation Office, and handling complex technologies such as IP SCAI, SIP, and H.

Since 2017, Mesina has been employed at Ribbon Communications as a Team Leader for Carrier VOIP and Cloud Solutions. Their responsibilities include leading the Ribbon Technical Support team for the Australia/New Zealand region, supporting various cloud services, and co-supporting Agnity products. Ronald has extensive knowledge of Ribbon and Genband equipment, as well as supporting customers such as Optus, Telstra, and Vodafone.

Ronald Mesina obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University. Ronald completed their degree from 1987 to 1992.
