Dekel Cohen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Dekel started their career at IDF, where they worked on wireless and voice technology integration and assimilation, as well as serving as a Switch Eng. Instructor. From there, they joined Comverse Ltd. as a Technical Instructor. Dekel then moved to ECI Telecom, where they held various roles including Government and Defence Networks Sales Engineer, Integrated Solutions Senior Product Line Manager and Solution Architect, and Business Development Manager. During their time at ECI Telecom, they were responsible for sales, business development, negotiation with customers and partners, bid management, and team leadership. Most recently, they joined Ribbon Communications as the Head of International Defense Sales and Marketing, IDF Sales. Overall, Dekel Cohen has gained extensive experience in sales, business development, customer relations, and project management within the telecom, government, and defense sectors.

Dekel Cohen completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Technology at Bar-Ilan University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at the same university. In 2006 to 2008, Dekel pursued a BA degree in Economics at The College of Management Academic Studies. Earlier in their education, from 2002 to 2004, Dekel earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Holon Institute of Technology. Dekel'seducational journey commenced with their studies at Bezeq from 1994 to 1999, where they acquired a degree of S. Eng. in Telecommunication and Electronics.
