David Hoyt has a diverse and extensive work experience in software development and design. David started their career at Nortel in 2004, where they served as a Software Engineer. In this role, they led a team and was involved in the design, implementation, testing, and integration of various software projects, including the Availability Management Framework (AMF) and High Availability (HA) Software Team. David also mentored TCS contractors and contributed to the development of a Versatile Service Engine (VSE) System Maintenance Team.

In 2010, David joined GENBAND as a Senior Software Engineer. David'sresponsibilities included developing an HA Framework for GENView Solutions, collaborating with a team to design, implement, test, and integrate the framework. David also worked on the GENView Assurance R&D project, which involved creating analytical tools and services for managing service assurance agreements. Additionally, they worked on VSE's AMF and System Maintenance Team, focusing on investigating, prototyping, and implementing software solutions for wireless and wireline compute, packet, and media process applications.

David currently holds the position of Senior Software Designer at Ribbon Communications since 2017.

David Hoyt attended the University of New Brunswick from 1988 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree with a specialization in Electrical Engineering. Further details regarding their field of study are not provided.
