Head Of IP Optical & Packet Channels Business - International Markets , Head Of Euroitaly Region at Ribbon Communications

Barak E. has extensive work experience in the telecom industry. Barak currently holds the position of Head of IP Optical & Packet Channels business - International Markets and Head of EuroItaly Region at Ribbon Communications since October 2021.

Prior to this role, Barak E. had a long tenure at ECI Telecom, where they held various leadership positions. From January 2017 to October 2021, they served as the Head of South Europe Sales organization, overseeing all of ECI's activities in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, and Monaco. In this role, they were responsible for sales and leading a large team of sales managers, engineers, and project managers.

Before that, from April 2015 to October 2021, Barak E. held the position of Head of Europe Service Providers and Carriers sales at ECI Telecom. Barak was also the Head of West Europe Sales at ECI Telecom from April 2010 to April 2015. In these roles, they managed sales in the West Europe region, including Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, and led a team of sales managers, engineers, and project managers.

Barak E. joined ECI Telecom as a Regional Sales Manager in April 2009, where they were responsible for sales activities in the Nordics and Baltics, including Sweden, Finland, and the Baltic states. Barak also served as the Director of Project Management and PMO at ECI Telecom's Transport Networking Division from 2001 to 2007.

Additionally, Barak E. volunteered as the Vice President of PMI-Israel from January 2008 to January 2014, where they were responsible for promoting project management practices in accordance with PMI methodologies in Israel.

Before their tenure at ECI Telecom, Barak E. worked as the Director of Account Management at Saifun Semiconductors from October 2007 to March 2009.

Overall, Barak E. has a broad range of experience in sales, project management, and leadership roles in the telecom industry.

Barak E.'s education history includes a PMP certification in Project Management from PME-TEFEN; PMI Israel Chapter, obtained in 2006. In addition, Barak E. pursued an MBA degree in International Marketing from The College of Management Academic Studies, which they completed between 2004 and 2005.
