Vimal Murugesan is currently serving as the Vice President of External Affairs for the Experimental Medicine Graduate Students' Society and is involved as a Research Trainee at the MUHC Centre of Excellence for Atopic Dermatitis. As a Graduate Research Student at the RI-MUHC, Vimal is also the Vice President External for the IDIGH Trainee Committee, focusing on organizing significant events like Research Day 2023. Previous experience includes serving as an Exam Invigilator at McGill University and completing an Undergraduate Research Project at Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research in the field of Radiation Biology and COVID-19. Vimal was awarded a Chancellors Summer Research Fellowship focusing on Molecular Biology and Cell culture techniques. Vimal is pursuing a Master's degree in Experimental Medicine at McGill University, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biomedical Sciences and Human Genetics from Sri Ramachandra Institute Of Higher Education and Research.
