Emma Pearson is an associate with RHR International and has more than 25 years of experience as an organizational development consultant and executive coach. Based in Switzerland, she is multilingual and has worked internationally with top teams in the life sciences, banking, engineering, and entertainment sectors.
Emma spent the first part of her career working in consulting organizations focused on executive assessment and development. She then moved her work to a more strategic level, leading talent management and organizational development initiatives.
When partnering with business leaders, Emma especially enjoys coaching and supporting executive teams who are striving to make a difference not just to their organizations but also to the wider industry and environment. She keeps larger systems front of mind, ensuring that the broader business context is always considered. At the same time, she readily dives in to help resolve the complex interpersonal and emotional dynamics that individuals and teams sometimes face.
Loss and grief have been critical components of Emma’s story since 2015. Following the deaths of a best friend and a brother, Emma was widowed in 2017. Two years later, she then experienced the suicide of her beloved teenage daughter Julia, who had been unable to absorb her father’s death. While not an expert in grief beyond her own experience, Emma works with any degree or level of grief that exists in her clients’ lives if they wish to explore this.
Emma holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and is a Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. She also holds numerous other certifications (Hogan assessment, Enneagram, FIRO-B, and more) as well as a postgraduate diploma in organization development through NTL Institute.
