Agustin Calatroni is a highly experienced statistician currently serving as Director of Statistics at Alcon since May 2024, and as Senior Director of Biostatistics at Rho since July 2005. At Rho, Agustin leads multi-center, multi-stage federally funded studies and provides mentorship on advanced statistical topics. Previous roles include Principal Statistical Scientist, Senior Statistician, and Statistician at Rho, as well as Statistician at the University of Michigan, where Agustin contributed to a multi-university research project on brain and behavior related to iron deficiency. Early in the career, Agustin worked as a Sports Specialist at SMT, earning an EMMY for contributions to live sports broadcasts. Educational achievements include a Master of Science in Statistics from North Carolina State University, a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Aix-Marseille University.
