Daniel Fictum has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Daniel began their career in 1993 at CUNY New York City College of Technology, where they served as the Director of Student Life and Development for over 20 years. In 2013, they founded Maximizing Potential Success Coaching for Individuals and Groups, where they provided success-coaching services and facilitated self-improvement workshops. In 2017, they worked as a Dean's Assistant at One Spirit Learning Alliance. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Front Desk Associate at Equinox, ensuring excellent customer service for members and guests. In the same year, they also worked as a Retail Sales Specialist at Rhone. Most recently, they served as the Assistant Operations Manager at Independant Training Spot, overseeing day-to-day operations of a private training gym.
Daniel Fictum has a diverse education history. Daniel first attended Doane University from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Art. After that, from 1990 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration/Student Personnel Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University. Following a break, they returned to academics from 2000 to 2005 at The City University of New York, earning a Master's of Fine Arts (MFA) in Fine and Studio Arts-Printmaking/Installation. Finally, in 2015 to 2017, they completed the Seminary Program at One Spirit Learning Alliance, specializing in Interfaith/Interspiritual Studies, leading to their qualification as an Interfaith/Interspiritual Ordained Minister.
