Rob MacMillan

Account Executive at Rhombus Systems

Rob MacMillan has been in the sales and marketing industry for over 10 years. Rob began their career in 2010 as a Sales Consultant for Bell, where they were a member of the Next Gen Talent team and a Top Western Ontario Samsung and Blackberry sales rep in 2011. Rob then moved to the role of Residential Services Specialist in 2013, where they were a Top Performer in activations. In 2016, they were a Sales Consultant - Small Business Prime and met and exceeded all necessary goals and targets set every year at Bell.

In 2017, MacMillan joined VXG Inc. as Head of Sales, where they sold a complex video streaming software solution. Rob also helped transform the company from a perpetual licensing model to a SaaS model. Rob was then promoted to VP Sales & Marketing, where they presented the VXG sales and marketing vision to investors, which led to a $1m seed round in 2020. Additionally, they connected over 100,000 surveillance cameras to the VXG platform and formed partnerships with such cameras manufacturers as Vivotek, Bosch, Hikvision, and Axis.

Most recently, MacMillan joined Rhombus Systems in 2021 as an Account Executive.

Rob MacMillan has completed a Certified Mobile App Developer from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in Mobile Business Technologies & Applications, a Diploma in Interactive Media Design from Fanshawe College, and a Certificate in Pre-Media from Fanshawe College.
