Travis Perry serves as President of Natural Curiosity, Inc. since July 2021 and holds the position of Research Associate at Rhodes University since January 2012. With a long-standing academic career at Furman University beginning in August 2000, Travis Perry progressed from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor and then to Professor. Previously, Travis Perry was an Adjunct Professor at New Mexico State University from March 2015 to December 2019 and worked as a Conservation Biologist for the United States Department of Defense from March 2008 to December 2018, focusing on puma biology and bat diversity. Additional conservation biology roles include positions with the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, RIO PUERCO ALLIANCE, U.S. Forest Service, Turner Endangered Species Fund, and Bureau of Land Management. Travis Perry earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Furman University.
