Rick VanNess has a diverse work experience spanning over more than a decade. Rick started their career as a Graduate Intern at Sandia National Laboratories in 2003 and later worked as a Graduate Researcher at the University of New Mexico from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they served as a Staff Consultant at Clover Leaf Environmental Solutions from 2007 to 2010. Rick then worked as a Study Coordinator at the Biomedical Research Institute of New Mexico from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they joined VisionQuest Biomedical as a Clinical Coordinator, where they stayed until 2014. In the same year, they took on the role of IRB Reviewer - Scientific Community Reviewer at The University of New Mexico. Additionally, they held positions as President of the New Mexico Biotechnology & Biomedical Association and Director of Product Development at RhodesGroup, both in 2014.
Rick VanNess earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from New Mexico State University in the years 1998 to 2003. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of New Mexico from 2004 to 2008.
