Cristy DeAraujo-Desir is an experienced database manager with a strong background in overseeing fundraising databases within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as the Database Manager at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, Cristy manages the Raiser's Edge donor database, leads a team of two Donor Database Coordinators, and plays a crucial role in various fundraising activities. Prior to this role, Cristy held positions at the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Citi Performing Arts Center, Inc., Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Unitarian Universalist Association, Beacon Press, and Providence Journal. Notable achievements include successfully managing the conversion to the cloud-based Raiser's Edge NXT system and contributing significantly to fundraising efforts across multiple organizations. Cristy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Emerson College.
