Betsy Ziegler has a long and diverse career history. Betsy began their career in 1993 as a Credit Operations at General Electric. In 1998, they joined McKinsey and Company as a Principal, where they gained expertise in the social sector and financial services industry. From 2011 to late 2015, they served as Associate Dean of MBA Programs and Dean of Students at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, where they also held the role of Chief Innovation Officer. In 2018, they became the CEO of 1871. In 2021, they joined Rheaply as an Independent Board Director and Verve Romance as an Independent Board Member. Betsy is also currently an Advisor at DBK Studio and an Independent Board Director at Fast Radius.
Betsy Ziegler's education history includes an MBA from Harvard Business School (1997-1998), a BA in Economics from The Ohio State University (1989-1993), a semester at Waseda University (1992), and high school at Wyoming High School (1988-1989) and Whitefish Bay High School (1985-1988).
