M. Ellen Ourednik

Vice President, People Team - Learning & Development at RGP

M. Ellen Ourednik has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. M. Ellen started their career at The Brookings Institution in 2004 as a Corporate Relations Coordinator, where they coordinated a $1.2 million annual corporate campaign. M. Ellen then worked at Buckeye Pharmaceuticals from 2006 to 2010 as a Student Research Team Leader, providing technical training and managing research projects for student researchers. In 2011, they worked as a Recruiter at Alego Health.

Ourednik joined Oberlin College in 2012 as an Interim Assistant Director of Career Services, responsible for leading student engagement initiatives and advising students on career-related matters. M. Ellen later joined Alego Health in 2013 as a Senior Technical Recruiter, developing and executing a healthcare IT candidate recruitment strategy. At Alego Health, they conceptualized and built a candidate database to streamline the recruitment process.

From 2015 to 2017, Ourednik worked at RGP as a Recruiting Manager, overseeing recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement for a team of professional services consultants. M. Ellen then took on the role of Vice President of Talent Management (Regional) at RGP from 2017 to 2022, where they were responsible for aligning talent to business needs and managing talent acquisition. Additionally, they managed several direct and indirect reports in regional markets.

In 2022, Ourednik was promoted to Senior Director of Learning & Development at RGP, where they designed and delivered learning and talent development programs to enhance the skills and performance of global employees. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Learning & Development at RGP, leading the People Team and serving as the Dean of RGP U. M. Ellen works collaboratively with business leaders to identify and deliver talent development opportunities that align with enterprise goals.

M. Ellen Ourednik has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Mary Baldwin University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. M. Ellen then pursued a Master of Public Administration degree in Human Rights & Social Justice at Cornell University from 2002 to 2004. Later on, they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they hold certifications in Talent Management from LinkedIn and as a Professional Counselor from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board, which they obtained in 2018 and October 2010, respectively.
