Karl Cheese is an experienced finance executive with a strong background in financial management and leadership across various industries. Currently serving as SVP Chief Financial Officer for EMEA at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, Karl oversees all financial operations for a legal entity with a balance sheet exceeding €5.5 billion. Previous roles include Finance Director for Ireland at UK General, Head of Finance at HSBC Life (Europe) Limited, and Finance Director for the European Region at CUNA Mutual Group. Karl also held positions as Financial Controller at Healthcare at Home and Western Wines, as well as Audit Manager at KPMG. Karl's academic foundation includes a B.Sc (Hons) in Computing and Information Systems from The University of Manchester.
