Daniel Tomazella

Director, US Operations Sustainability at Reynolds American

Daniel Tomazella has extensive experience in various leadership positions in the manufacturing industry. Daniel most recently served as the Director, US Operations Sustainability at Reynolds American Inc., where they led the development and execution of a comprehensive Sustainability Roadmap. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Director Manufacturing, overseeing the productivity improvement of five factories through the implementation of Lean methodology and tools.

Previously, Daniel worked at British American Tobacco in multiple roles, including Head of EH&S and Head of Quality for the Americas & Sub-Saharan Africa region. In these positions, they directed the environmental and quality functions across 18 manufacturing sites and implemented programs to reduce carbon emissions and improve product quality. Daniel also served as the Plant Director in charge of supply chain operations in Honduras, delivering products to various countries in the region.

Earlier in their career, Daniel held positions such as Sr. Product & Quality Manager, where they led a cross-functional team to improve product quality and customer satisfaction, and Project Manager, where they successfully implemented a Manufacturing Execution System. Daniel also had experience as a Production Manager and Management Trainee, where they implemented process improvements and trained teams to enhance productivity.

Daniel Tomazella completed their education history with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU in 2005. Daniel then pursued an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the same university, graduating in 2009. In 2015, Daniel completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Fundação Dom Cabral.
