John Willis has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John started their career as a Restaurant General Manager at Bridgeman Foods in 2012 before transitioning to a Restaurant Manager at Diversified Restaurant Holdings, Inc. In 2015, John joined Impulse Point as an Associate Software Engineer, where they were responsible for maintenance, development, and extension of their codebase. John also worked as a Systems Engineer, managing core infrastructure and implementing improvements to their monitoring solution.

In 2018, John became a Senior Software Developer at Genitrust, Inc Represents Wall of Coins, where they integrated blockchain technologies into existing applications and developed backend API integrations. John then joined Perch Security in 2019 as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, where they played a key role in building a custom SIEM alerting system and worked on both backend and frontend projects.

In 2021, John worked as a Solutions Architect at raft, contributing to architecture and development for GovTech projects, including secure data streaming, nationwide aid programs, and real-time aircraft tracking. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer at Rewst, where they utilize their technical leadership skills to oversee projects and lead a team of engineers.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in full stack development, including languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript. John has experience with frameworks like Django and React and has worked with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Ansible, Azure, and AWS.

John Willis earned an Associate's degree in General Engineering from South Florida State College, starting in 2011 and completing the program in 2013. Following this, they pursued further education at Southern New Hampshire University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology from 2013 to 2015.
