Michael Koitz has extensive work experience in the field of IT and software development. Michael has held various roles in different companies, including REWE International AG, TourRadar, Amazon, UNIQA IT Services GmbH, Dr. E. Hackhofer GmbH, Amdocs, Siemens, and HLW Software Development GmbH. Their most recent position was as a CPO Platform Services at REWE International AG, where they were responsible for overseeing platform services. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Application Platform at the same company. Michael has also worked as a Senior IT-Architect at REWE International AG, a Tribe TechLead at TourRadar, and a Senior Software Development Engineer at Amazon. In their previous roles, they have gained experience in solution architecture, software development, and optimization of website performance.

Michael Koitz obtained their Matura degree in Elektrotechnik, Steuerung- und Regelungstechnik from TGM Wien 20 in 2001. Michael later attended Technische Universität Wien from 2003 to 2008, where they graduated with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Informatik. Michael also holds additional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services obtained in August 2019 and Certified Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA-F) from ISAQB.org, obtained in 2015.
