Markus Hasse-Pratje serves as the Managing Director and Member of the Board at REWE Far East Ltd. since January 2012, overseeing the sourcing operations for the REWE Group in Asia. In addition, Markus is the Deputy Chairman of the Sourcing Committee at the German Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, active since September 2020, which focuses on key topics in sourcing and sustainability. Previously, Markus held the position of General Manager for Strategic Development at Eurogroup Far East Ltd. from March 2008 to December 2011, where responsibilities included enhancing the sourcing and purchasing strategies of the REWE Group. Markus's career also includes various managerial roles at Otto GmbH from 1997 to 2007 across Turkey, India, and Germany. Markus holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg, obtained between 1992 and 1994.
