Gisela Abbam FRSA serves as the Senior Director of Government Affairs at Revvity since May 2023 and holds multiple leadership positions including Chair of the General Pharmaceutical Council and Board Member of The Bar Standards Board. Additionally, Gisela is a Commissioner for the National Preparedness Commission and a Non-Executive Board Member at Briyah Institute. Gisela also contributes as a Global Goodwill Ambassador for the Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation and has been involved as a member of the Advisory Board for Everywoman Ltd and previously served as Senior Director of Government Affairs at PerkinElmer. Gisela was Chair and Trustee at the British Science Association from January 2019 to January 2022 and managed OTGA Management Consultancy from November 2020 to April 2021. Gisela's educational background includes an Executive MBA from Middlesex University and participation in multiple executive leadership courses at Crotonville Alumni. Additionally, Gisela holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Cape Coast.
