José Barbero has a long and varied work experience. In 2000, they were the General Manager of REPRESA. In 2012, they became a Board Directors Member of Bjumper Solutions. In 2015, they were the Chairman of AURUM EXPERIENCE. In 2016, they were the Co-Founder & CEO of ECOTECH DEVELOPMENT and Co-Founder of Revoolt. In 2018, they became an Advisor of Golddriving. In 2019, they were the Co-Founder & Head Of Ecosystem of The Game Changers Lab. Lastly, in 2020, they became the Co-Founder of HoBee Life.

José Barbero attended IE Business School from 2006 to 2007 for an Executive MBA. José also attended Universidad de Alcalá from 1995 to 1999 where they obtained an Ingeniería Telecomunicaciones degree in Ingeniería de telecomunicaciones.
