Chris Meik has held a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2006. In 2015, they were a Business Development Manager for HealthyInChina.com, where they managed a team of 5 employees to build out a web site and marketing platform to deliver U.S. produced health products to customers within China. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Data Engineer for Xant, where they built out and maintained ETL pipelines for Fortune 500 companies to integrate with their sales acceleration tools. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Cloud Architect and Data Engineer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where they developed and maintained ETL pipelines using a suite of technologies and worked with a team of data scientists to create, deploy, and maintain ML models. Currently, they are a Full Data Stack Engineer for RevolutionParts, where they are leading the design and development of an end-to-end data stack to enable a company-wide self-service reporting platform and has achieved a 10x speed increase from the company's previous data warehouse.
Chris Meik attended Brigham Young University from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Information Systems.
