Daniel Watkins is an accomplished professional in regulatory compliance, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Compliance at Revolut since August 2020. In this role, Daniel has developed and implemented the overall regulatory compliance program for Revolut Group while overseeing the first line of defense compliance function. Prior positions at Revolut include leadership roles in banking compliance and regulatory advice, particularly in payments and retail products. Before joining Revolut, Daniel gained extensive experience at Nationwide Building Society, where responsibilities included compliance advisory for payments and business banking, as well as governance and control management. Early career experience includes a partnership at Alan Watkins Motor Repairs, focusing on customer engagement and operational efficiency. Daniel holds a BSc in Computer Game Design Technology from the University of Portsmouth.
