Alencar Costa Filho has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as an Equity Researcher at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management. Alencar then joined Goldman Sachs as an Equity Research Analyst in 2012. Alencar's next career move was to The Kraft Heinz Company, where they held multiple positions, including Partner and Head of Revenue Management & Commercial Finance. In 2020, they became the Head of Finance & Supply at gal, a cosmetics B2B marketplace, where they played a crucial role in establishing the finance and legal departments. Currently, Alencar is the Director of Strategic Finance at Revivn, a position they started in 2023. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in finance, strategic planning, and team leadership throughout their career.

Alencar Costa Filho obtained their Secondary School degree from St. Paul's School in Sao Paulo, where they studied from 1993 to 2004. Alencar then attended Colégio Bandeirantes for their High School education from 2004 to 2007. Alencar pursued their undergraduate degree in Economics at Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa from 2008 to 2013. As part of an exchange program, they spent six months at Institut catholique de Paris in 2011. Additionally, Alencar attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a summer program in 2010, focusing on Alternative Investments (AF250).
