Eric Woo, CFA has an extensive work experience in venture capital, finance, and risk management. Eric began their career in 2000 as Manager of Secondary Research at Dow Jones Company (VentureOne). Over the next 5 years, they held progressively more senior and impactful roles in the organization, eventually becoming the head of secondary research and online publishing for VentureSource. In 2005, they joined PMI Mortgage Insurance Co. as Manager of Pricing & Credit, leading the international pricing & risk management team and coordinating with the financial guaranty division in New York. In 2008, they moved to AccountNow as Manager of Search Engine Marketing (SEM), managing in-house search marketing efforts and building proprietary bid algorithms. In 2009, they joined Northgate Capital as a Principal and Investment Manager, leading due diligence on fund and direct co-investment venture capital opportunities and advocating for the firm's analyst and summer internship programs. In 2014, they founded Trigo Ventures, a venture capital fund-of-funds that intended to invest in promising emerging seed and micro VC funds. In 2015, they joined Top Tier Capital Partners as Principal, serving as a senior member of the fund investment team and leading 13 investments totaling more than $100M in committed capital. In 2018, they became Head of Institutional Capital at AngelList, establishing a new department focused on novel products and services for accredited investors, family offices, allocators, and institutions. In 2020, they joined N Fund as Venture Partner, applying the multi-manager approach to Venture Capital, and co-founded Revere as CEO.
Eric Woo obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley between 1995 and 1999. Eric also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in October 2004.
