Donnell Layne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in information technology and education. Currently serving as the Director of the STEM Innovation Center/Makerspace at Moreno Valley College since April 2018, Donnell leads initiatives funded by the HSI Title III / STEM Grant and collaborates with academic institutions to enhance STEM programs. In addition, Donnell holds positions as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce and as a Technology Innovation Consultant at Revere Consulting, managing a range of IT services. Previous roles include Director of Information Technology at The Noble Network of Charter Schools, where technology advancements were promoted, and Director of IT at Urban Prep Academies, focusing on information management strategies. Educationally, Donnell earned a Master’s in Information Technology from Northwestern University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in African Studies and Africana Studies from Cornell University.
