Ryan Garner has a diverse work experience. Ryan started their career as a Document Specialist at Kass, Shuler, Solomon, Spector, Foyle & Singer, P.A. in September 2013. Ryan then became a Business Systems Analyst Intern in February 2014 and later transitioned to an Associate Business Systems Analyst from May 2014 to October 2015.
Afterwards, Garner worked at Revenue Management Solutions as a Database Analyst from October 2015 to December 2018. Ryan then took on the role of Data Architect, Research and Development from January 2019 to October 2022. In this role, they developed and maintained an Analytics Platform while improving workflow processes using Big Data, Azure, SQL Server, SSIS, and more. Ryan was also involved in research and development efforts, including leading eye-tracking studies to uncover industry consumer insights.
Most recently, Garner joined the University of South Florida as a USF Digital Marketing Advisor in May 2022.
Ryan Garner earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a focus on Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University of South Florida. Ryan attended the university from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they studied at Hillsborough Community College from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree with a liberal arts focus in Architecture Studies and CAD design.
In addition to their formal education, Ryan has obtained several certifications. Ryan completed a Conjoint Analysis Workshop at Sawtooth Software in February 2023 and became iMotions Certified from iMotions in November 2022. Ryan also earned a Digital Marketing Certificate from the University of South Florida in June 2022 and a Big Data Certificate with Paul Szyarto from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in May 2019.
