Asta Vaitkevičienė started their career in 2003 as an IT specialist at Rytu skirstomieji tinklai. Asta then worked as a Senior Project Consultant at Alna Business Solutions from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they served as an Assistant at Vilnius University. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as an Analyst-Researcher, and from 2015 to 2018, they were a Project Manager at Algoritmu sistemos Ltd.

In 2012, Asta Vaitkevičienė joined Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University as a Lecturer and later became the Head of the Software Services Management Division from 2018 to 2021. In 2020, they founded Tehum and served as the Founder, focusing on value analysis and planning.

Currently, Asta Vaitkevičienė works as a Software Development Manager at Revel Systems since December 2021.

Asta Vaitkevičienė completed their education as follows:

- From 2006 to 2011, they attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they obtained a PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Health, and Computer Aided Diagnosis.

- From 2004 to 2006, they studied at Vilniaus universitetas (Vilnius University) and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.

- From 2000 to 2004, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Vilniaus universitetas (Vilnius University).
