Fernando Arruda is a seasoned sound designer, audio engineer, and composer with extensive experience in audio production for various media formats. Currently serving as a sound designer and audio engineer at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting since January 2018, Fernando is involved in scoring, recording, editing, and mixing for the weekly public radio show and podcast, as well as contributing to sound design for data sonification and live performances. Prior roles include music composer and sound designer with Manhattan Composers Collective, instructor at Dubspot, and composer/sound designer at Antfood. Fernando's education includes a Master of Music degree from New York University and technical training in sound design and audio engineering.
