Michael Pell is a data journalist currently working with the enterprise team at Reuters News Agency since April 2013, focusing on producing high-impact stories across various subjects. Prior experience includes serving as a reporter on the investigative team at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution from October 2010 to March 2013 and working as a data journalist with Reuters in 2013. Previous roles also involve serving as deputy data editor at the Center for Public Integrity from 2008 to 2010 and as an analyst at the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting from 2006 to 2007, where responsibilities included obtaining and cleaning data. Early career experience includes four years as a reporter for the Watertown Daily Times, covering key issues along the St. Lawrence River. Michael Pell holds a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Delaware.
